Dear Friend and Share Holders: This should brighten your day, the seeds have
arrived! We have added two additional weeks of distribution. The benefit of this is that you will get to enjoy a few more late season vegetables, and we will get to see you every week until Mid November. We will start distribution in early June and run until mid November. The expanded pick your own garden will be available mid summer until fall. Fruit will be included in all shares. Your commitment to us is invaluable and we are grateful for the opportunity to provide you with another season of fresh, healthy produce! Long Hill Orchard and Farm has been in operation since 1896. In 2007 we started our Community Supported Agricultural (CSA) program with our sister farm Piccadilly Farm in Winchester, NH. It was a complete success and rewarding for everyone. Organic certification Summer of '09. We are enthusiastically starting the 2009 season. In addition to our CSA program (using sustainable methods only) we grow produce and fruit for our farm stand including apples, peaches and pears. And there are many other great items available in our farm stand such as, local dairy products (eggs, butter, milk), honey, maple syrup, crafts, baked goods, etc. You can also enjoy a tasty treat from our ice cream stand (opens in May).
